MOBILISATION OF VOLUNTEERS FOR EDUCATIONAL WORK ABOUT RENOVATION OF RURAL SCHOOL CLASSROOM AND BUILDING.

Renovation of school classes in the field of education work

General context and The works volunteers have to do.

TOGO is a country which has had its independence since 1960 under French supervision. Before its independence Togo was a German colony with the construction of schools during colonial times. Before and just after its independence, several state schools were established all over the country. In the region of KLOTO - KPALIME these schools although there are not many today, they are in, impaired and dilapidated state. It is sure to see the walls of most of the classes of these schools present cracks through which you can look.

The class terraces have huge holes as if there where throwing bullet of obus and we observe that water sometimes collects in these wholes just after the rains. The roofs of the school rooms are almost removed where the nails hold only a part of the roof and that makes the classrooms totally flooded when there is a little bit rain fall. The painting of the walls presents a state of gloom where its use does not give any taste for the follow-up of the courses. These situations are seen as catastrophic for the future of school complexes in these villages and the danger or risk that these schoolchildren run in these rooms. Even more some current schools are like hangars where even warehouses in some countries are better than these schools. All this calls us into question about how to bring an solution to these problems? After having identified many of these problems and at the request of the village in need to rehabilitate these schools for their child, we are now looking for volunteers willing to help with the renovation or reconstruction of a school. a village near Kpalimé.

This project comes at the right time to call all those who would like to help, bring competencies, support technically or financially and work in groups or individuals with their own will to have an enriching experience in the reconstruction of school buildings (whitewashing or painting, colouring of walls, experience in carpentry, etc.) to make it nice, better and safe for the schoolchildren, the school and the village.
